leading lights newsletter

The leading lights newsletter is currently produced four times a year. Typically each issue contains the following information: the president’s column; an editorial; brief book reviews section; NZEALS members abroad; and a congratulations and information column honouring members and members on the move. Other occasional sections include conference information and reporting; relevant research reporting and studies involving our members and ‘guest’ columns.

The current editor of leading lights is Dr. Richard Smith (from the School of Education at AUT University). Richard has edited leading lights since 2005. However, he will relinquish this role at the end of 2008. Richard welcomes feedback and contributions and he can be contacted at richard.smith@aut.ac.nz (until mid July 2008) and after this richard.smith@nie.edu.sg

A call for the new editor of leading lights will be made by the NZEALS publications committee of the NZEALS Council during the second half of 2008.
