CCEAM RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

In order to facilitate the work done in the fields of research and development within the CCEAM, you are invited in joining the effort of promoting and applying the following plan.

Purpose: To encourage and facilitate research publications and research activity within the CCEAM.

Aims - Activities:
1. Encourage publication of research abstracts or research papers in any topic in the areas of educational leadership, which already exist from members (in MEM or ISEA). Members are asked to forward their work to the publications committee.

2. We propose three topics as our research priorities: Leadership Diversity (Leader: Dr T. Goddard, Canada), Leadership Preparation (Leader: Prof. Tony Bush, U.K.) and Primary Schools Leading (the leader will be appointed at a later stage).

Members are asked to indicate their interest to the respective leader in one or more of the themes above by the end of February 2007. The leaders will then formulate working groups and facilitate the process. The aim is to be able to have some presentations (either papers or symposia) in the South Africa Conference, September 2008.
