investigate leadership support and/or professional development initiatives
in the wider early child hood sector and in particular:
- Visit early childhood services organisations and/or centres
in Australia and New Zealand to meet with personnel who have influenced
the direction of leadership practice. In particular I am hoping
to take the opportunity to meet with Early Childhood educationalists
who have published articles and books which I have found particularly
insightful and which have certainly influenced my own leadership
practice.
- Visit early childhood centres or services to meet with key personnel,
including practitioners in positions of leadership and management
who are known to be providing high quality teaching and learning
programmes, and successful teacher support and advisory services
that are underpinned by quality leadership and professional management
structures.
- Attend an international conference for Early Childhood educators.
