Cheryl Doig

Fendalton School principal Cheryl Doig of Christchurch has been named as the 2001 recipient of the Minolta Dame Jean Herbison Scholarship.

A member of NZEALS' Canterbury branch, Cheryl intends using the scholarship to travel to the United States of America to look at innovation and the use of information and communication technologies.

Her itinerary includes school visits, a conference and a visit to the Apple headquarters in San Francisco.
